Supervisor of Painting and Drawing Club de Stek

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to supervise our Monday evening painting and drawing club. The club provides a relaxed and creative environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to develop their artistic skills and make new friends. As a volunteer facilitator you will play a vital role in facilitating this valuable activity.

The club meets on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the De Stek neighborhood house

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming the participants and creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
• Setting up the necessary materials for the painting and drawing activities, including setting up tables, chairs, paint, brushes, and paper.
• To encourage and support participants in their creative processes.
• Stimulating interaction and facilitating conversations between participants. For this it is nice if you master both the Dutch and English language.
• Cleaning up the space after the activity, including wiping down the tables and clearing away the materials used.

Requirements:

• No specific expertise required, but an affinity with art and creativity is appreciated.
• Good communication skills and the ability to create a friendly and supportive environment.
• Reliability and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the participants.
