Summary

We are looking for a board member, a candidate with some management experience within a company, a foundation or association

Detailed description

Do you have a broad interest, do you want to work for the birds and do you have time for us a few hours a week?

As a board member, you help shape the policy of the Bird Hospital and, together with the other board members, you are responsible for managing the Foundation. The Bird Hospital is a small foundation with a regional function. There are 1 administrator and 2 assistant administrators and approximately 60 volunteers work there. The managers mainly work on the daily management and care of the birds. As a board, we also perform various tasks together, such as management of the building, supervision of construction projects, finance and insurance, ICT, marketing, PR, fundraising and HR.

One of our board members is going to retire, so we are looking for reinforcement.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with some management experience within a company, foundation or association, preferably with general knowledge and interest in a broad area. As a general board member you take on various matters, which can vary depending on your knowledge and interests.

Time commitment and regularity

We meet approximately once every 6 weeks for an evening and it also requires an average of a few hours of work per week, which can be freely arranged from home or the Bird Hospital.
