Intaker / assessor testing norm

What are you going to do?

Immediately after a person or household reports to the Food Bank (or has been referred), the intake starts. The intaker/assessor contacts the person seeking assistance and indicates what (financial) information is required to assess whether the person seeking assistance is eligible.

Based on the nationally established assessment criteria, the intaker assesses whether or not a person seeking assistance is eligible. The outcome of the assessment is discussed with the person seeking help.

During the intake and later during a re-intake, additional solutions to the (financial) problems are looked at together with the intaker and, where possible, referral is made to expert care providers.

Estimation of time required: 1 to 2 half days per week.

We ask:

· Minimum MBO thinking level

· Financial background

· Experience with using (online) software packages

· Affinity or experience with social work

· Social skills (our clients may have a language delay)

· Good communicative skills

· Able to deal with privacy-sensitive information

A versatile role in a socially committed organization. You work independently, but always in collaboration with the board and other volunteers.

The position is available immediately.

Parts of the training period are:

- a training session in which the Assessment Criteria are explained and explained,

- an application for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
