At the Massage for Care Foundation you will work as a team to provide Hand-Forearm Massage to elderly people with dementia in the Velsen and IJmuiden region. We do this in healthcare institutions. In the short term we are already looking for people for the care institution Breezicht, Velserduin and WF Vissershuis in IJmuiden and new locations. People with massage experience are welcome, but also people who would like to learn. There is a workshop available for this.
You will be part of a massage team of more than 50 masseurs. We provide support in the form of practice moments, in-depth training and volunteer meetings.
This form of massage provides a lot of meaning. For you and the recipient. You immediately feel or see the effect. This way you help the elderly in a beautiful form with a bit of relaxation and relief. This is so welcome!
A personal contribution of €55 is required for the training. This includes reference work, massage oil and certificate of participation.
