Summary

Do you think it is important that aid processes meet quality standards and do you have an affinity with volunteers and the work they do?

Detailed description

Do you think it is important that aid processes meet quality and do you have an affinity with volunteers and the work they do? Then we are looking for you as our regional coordinator quality of aid in the North Holland region.

What are you going to do?

As a regional quality coordinator, you build a bridge between the various components within the emergency services where quality is concerned. From logistics to first aid, from people to systems, you are responsible for the quality of the emergency services (processes) in the North Holland region. You do not do this alone; you work closely with the emergency services coordinator.

- You carry out internal and external evaluations and audits with and for volunteers and clients; you analyse and assess the information that comes from this.

- Based on the information acquired, you write recommendations and report to the emergency response coordinator

- In the process you monitor the progress of the PCDA circle

- Together with the other coordinators, you improve current quality processes and set new quality standards, identifying and resolving risks at an early stage.

So you do not coordinate the events yourself.

Who are you?

- You have strong communication skills and you have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

- You are analytical, have an eye for detail and your strength lies in researching and improving processes

- You are good at setting frameworks and making decisions that others can easily get on board with

- Preferably you have experience in quality improvement and you are familiar with the PCDA circle

- It is important that you are good with office systems

The vacancy is for 4 to 8 hours per week. This is flexible and can be carried out from home and on location. In addition, you live in the region of North Holland (North Holland North, Zaanstreek-Waterland or Kennemerland).

What do we offer you?

As a volunteer, you contribute to the work of the Red Cross. That feels good! You get the chance to develop your talents and work together with motivated and enthusiastic volunteers and employees. The Red Cross reimburses travel and expenses incurred and ensures that you are insured during the execution of your work. The Red Cross also provides courses and/or training for the purpose of performing the function. At the Red Cross, we work according to the basic principles and our code of conduct.
