Regional Coordinator Well Prepared North Holland region

Do you like to be at the helm of important projects and are you committed to a safe and well-prepared society? Then we are looking for you!

Within the Red Cross we work with various programs that contribute to preparing people for emergency situations. This coordinator function focuses on two of these programs: Well Prepared and Education. These workshops and guest lectures are provided by volunteers and managed by the location coordinators.

You ensure that the location coordinators know exactly what to do and they can contact you for questions and support. Together you ensure that people in the North Holland region are aware of the need to prepare for disasters and crises.

What are you going to do?

- Within the region you manage the location coordinators Goed Voorbereid; you coordinate the project and ensure that the right information is placed in the right place

- Networking; you establish and maintain contacts with local partners such as schools and community centres

- You know how to inspire and connect people based on the importance of good preparation for emergency situations

- Provide support to volunteers; you ensure that they can also develop and ensure a good atmosphere and cooperation within the team

Who are you?

- You have strong communication and administrative skills and have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

- Connecting, coordinating, supporting and networking are your talents

- You have a passion for safety and first aid. Experience in this is a plus but not a requirement

- You are available for approximately 4 hours per week and you live in Kennemerland (Haarlem and surrounding areas) or in North Holland North (Alkmaar and surrounding areas)

- Minimal mastery in working with Excel is an advantage.

What do we offer you?

As a volunteer, you contribute to the work of the Red Cross. That feels good! You get the chance to develop your talents because the Red Cross provides courses and/or training for the purpose of performing the function. The Red Cross reimburses travel and expenses incurred and ensures that you are insured during the performance of your work. At the Red Cross, we work according to the basic principles and our code of conduct.
