Detailed description

Are you a star in communication and information provision with a feeling for people? For our event project team of Le Champion we are looking for a project leader who is committed to successfully realizing these large projects in the field of communication and information provision. You will work together with a team of project leaders.

What are you going to do?

- From ICT and connection equipment and from apps to information provision, you ensure that it is ordered and arranged on time

- You think creatively and provide support with various issues related to communication and information provision

- For the volunteer pool, you work together with the liaison service coordinators to ensure that sufficient volunteers have registered and that they know what to do.

- Creating a joint strategy/vision for the approach and planning regarding communication and information provision

- During the year you will lead meetings, collaborate with other teams and provide advice to the other project leaders

During the deployment you are not active yourself, it is about arranging matters before a deployment takes place. You work closely with the regional coordinator of the communications service.

Who are we looking for?

- You have strong communication skills and you have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

- You have good social skills, you can work well with other coordinators, but you can also work independently and you have an affinity with communication tools

- Making decisions and dealing with different interests are your strengths

- You are stress-resistant and can improvise when necessary

You live in the North Holland region and are available for 4 to 8 hours per week, with quiet periods alternating with peak times.

What do we offer?

As a volunteer, you contribute to the work of the Red Cross. That feels good! You get the chance to develop your talents and work together with motivated and enthusiastic volunteers and employees. The Red Cross reimburses travel and expenses incurred and ensures that you are insured during the execution of your work. The Red Cross also provides courses and/or training for the purpose of performing the function. At the Red Cross, we work according to the basic principles and our code of conduct
