The Red Cross is very strong in providing assistance and you will see our volunteers standing by as first aiders at numerous small and large events. This requires a lot of organization!
For this reason, we are looking for Volunteer Management Employees for Intake Interviews within the Kennemerland District for the locations Haarlemmermeer (Hoofddorp), IJmond (Velsen) and Zuid-Kennemerland (Haarlem).
For this position we are looking for skilled volunteers who, together with the Volunteer Management Coordinator, want to handle the influx of new volunteers and, in particular, conduct intake interviews with the candidates. Progress discussions can be added at a later stage.
About the position
· Scheduling and conducting intake interviews with (potential) volunteers.
· Report on the progress of those conversations.
· Starting up the so-called 'onboarding'; all steps needed to place a new volunteer in his or her place in the organization.
· Maintain contact with volunteers regarding onboarding, training and deployment.
About what you bring
· You have strong communication skills, speak Dutch well and having a good and fun conversation comes easily to you.
· You are enthusiastic, enterprising, reliable and precise.
· Collaborating with colleagues comes naturally to you.
· Experience in working with MS Office packages.
· You are available 0-4 hours per week for a longer period.
· Living in Hoofddorp, Haarlem or Velsen or in the immediate vicinity of one of these three places of residence.
· You endorse the basic principles and policy of the Dutch Red Cross.
