Do you keep an overview?

Together with your colleague coordinator, you are responsible for the planning and organization of the deployment of event responders at various events in the working area of the IJmond Location , where the Red Cross provides First Aid. About what you're going to do

• You make a plan and script for a deployment and discuss this with the volunteers involved
• Agreements with external organizations about the terms and conditions of use are made by you
• The activities are evaluated by you and discussed with the care providers
• You identify bottlenecks and make improvement proposals
• You make quotes and invoices

About the team

About 40 (Basic and Event) First Responders are ready to be deployed. Because a number of team members also have the position of biker, help can be provided even faster if necessary. The deployments are carried out in a structured manner under the leadership of the Team Leaders. Regular training by our own instructors ensures that the knowledge of all care providers remains up to date.

About you

• For this volunteer position it is important that you speak Dutch well and can work in a team
• You have an MBO work and thinking level
• You know how to make people enthusiastic, connect them and get them to work together
• You have or are willing to obtain:
• a valid basic first aid diploma
• the Events First Aider certificate
• Alcohol and Drugs Certificate
• You are willing to take additional training courses that are important for this position where necessary
• You are available approximately 8 to 16 hours per week. This is in addition to your own refresher lessons
• You endorse the basic principles of the Red Cross and promote them
