The Red Cross provides first aid at many events with its own trained first aiders. We man the first aid posts with many volunteers after our Logistics colleagues have ensured that all supplies are present. The Connection Service enables communication between all people in the field. Great results are achieved through the efforts of many volunteers. Through continuous, up-to-date practical experience at events, Red Cross volunteers can also be ready to provide emergency assistance (at the request of and in addition to government services) in the event of calamities. All these activities must be properly coordinated so that we are as efficient as possible in their implementation. That is why we are looking for one for the Kennemerland District

About us
Helping people in need around the corner – and far away, from our hearts and with our sleeves rolled up. That is what the Red Cross stands for.
We do this by increasing people's resilience, so that they help themselves and others in emergency situations. In the Netherlands, the Red Cross helps with more than fourteen thousand volunteers by providing Emergency Aid, Event Aid, First Aid (education) and Citizen Aid, among other things.
Volunteers are committed to helping people. It gives them satisfaction to be of significance to someone else. And to grow as a person. Collegiality is valuable; the volunteers help each other when necessary and they take each other into account. Together they are ready for everyone.
When choosing the right candidate, the Red Cross is not guided by cultural background, physical limitations, gender identity, religious beliefs, orientation or age.
