The Kennemerland district is based in Haarlem and consists of three departments/locations. Within the IJmond department/location, the focus is on event assistance. You will find our first aid workers at many large and smaller events. We largely train first aid workers ourselves to become certified first aid workers. Are you good at organizing and does that give you energy? Is it something for you to lead the internal training courses in Velsen, Beverwijk, Uitgeest and Heemskerk in the right direction? Then we are looking for you!
Within the Kennemerland district, the IJmond department/location is looking for a:
Training Coordinator IJmond (volunteer)
About what you are going to do
· As a driving force, you organize internal first aid training courses and
Red Cross training in the IJmond region. (Complete training courses are available for this
scripts and all necessary instructional materials available).
· You communicate with participants and instructors about this and organize the
required location, resources and materials in consultation with logistics/warehouse.
· You identify training needs and initiate new and/or varied
training aspects.
· You do all this in collaboration with the professional team and the board of the
district.
· You periodically exchange your knowledge and experience with other departments within the
district by participating in joint consultation.
About what you bring
· You speak good Dutch and are familiar with first aid training because you have done that
you did it yourself (does not have to be at the Red Cross).
· You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
· You are enthusiastic, enterprising, reliable and precise.
· You can work with Outlook, Word, Excel and are willing to delve into the online
Red Cross training applications such as Tools and Heartbeat. You have your own
computer/laptop at your disposal.
· You have approximately 4 hours per week available.
· You endorse the principles and policies of the Dutch Red Cross.

to shape within the department.
· You will join an enthusiastic department and will be given the opportunity to coordinate your work
to expand or deepen your skills. An opportunity to share your experiences and your

society.
· Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself further; the Red Cross offers a
extensive package of training and e-learning in the Red Cross Academy.
· You will receive a volunteer agreement and travel expenses and costs will be
reimbursed.
· You are also insured during the work.
