Summary

Regularly working one day a week in and around the Club building of Radio Club Kennemerland, preferably on Thursday (or in the weekend (Sunday)).

Detailed description

Radio Club Kennemerland is an active independent association with over 50 members and has existed since 1966. RCK is an active and social club that brings together radio amateurs from the Kennemerland region and organizes various activities. Radio amateurs are hobbyists who send and receive messages from all over the world via voice, Morse code or digital mode on government-regulated frequencies.

RCK is located in a beautiful location on the industrial estate of IJmuiden and every week there are activities around the Club station. For example, every Thursday and in the weekend an enthusiastic group of volunteers works on the building, on and around the site, on the masts etc. To strengthen the group, we are looking for a volunteer who enjoys doing odd jobs and carrying out various activities together with others (a group of 4 to 5 people). The jobs are diverse and there is something for everyone who is a team player and enjoys getting started.

Every Friday evening there is also a Club evening where you are of course also welcome. What we expect from you is that you are handy and a team player. That you can contribute to the Club and enjoy fixing things together and making them better.

What you get in return is a pleasant atmosphere within the Club, seeing results from your work and a positive way to spend your day.

You don't have to be a radio amateur for this position, but being handy is a must.

Why? Because it's fun to work with others and fix things up, whether it's painting the Clubhouse, installing lighting or placing a mast, you see the results of your work and feel satisfied!

What? Regularly one day a week doing odd jobs, preferably on Thursday (or in the weekend (Sunday)). There is odd jobs and work, but there is certainly also time for a chat and a cup of coffee in the Clubhouse.

How? Contact us and write a piece about why you are the right candidate to strengthen our handyman team!
