Our residents of the Molenweid can often no longer go outside independently, but they enjoy being outside immensely.
We are looking for volunteers at the Molenweid who want to go outside with 1 or more residents either in the morning or the afternoon. Some residents walk independently, but other residents are in a wheelchair and have to be pushed.
For example, our residents like to walk to the shopping center, to the Westbroekerplas (surfing lake) or just a tour of the neighborhood.
You can either be linked to 1 resident or take other residents outside each time. You don't have to be able to at a fixed time.
If you become a volunteer with us, you will be guided by Aafje from welfare and activities. We think it is important that you also feel at home as a volunteer at the Molenweid.

About Molenweid
The house is spacious and has 2 beautiful gardens where we like to sit with the residents. It is important to us that residents can live as much as possible as they would at home. Everyone involved in the Molenweid is involved in designing meaningful activities for our residents on a daily basis.
We cook for our residents every day, often with the support of the residents themselves. Other regularly recurring activities are gymnastics, dancing, creative afternoon, live music, bus trips, singing, walking, duo cycling and more.
