Do you like to get everywhere and would you like to make sure that everyone has something to read? Then we are looking for you!
Velsen Library is looking for book couriers immediately
As a book courier you drive books to schools and residential care centers. Schools and nursing homes are waiting for avid readers who depend on those who want to go the extra mile. For this you can drive in our electric service car.
Do you have a driver's license? Do you like your independence and flexibility? Can we count on you? Do you like to think along and can you pass on what is happening along the way?
Then nothing can stop you from becoming a Book courier. Apply directly!
What exactly are you going to do?:
· Driving books to residential care centers and schools.
· Driving independently or in collaboration with fellow Book couriers.
· Feedback of the rides.
You are:
· Available at least once every two weeks for 2 to 3 hours.
Physically fit and able to lift light boxes (Books are prepacked in liftable boxes!)
· Independent and responsible.

About Bibliotheek Velsen
You can read aloud at the library and also help with difficult digital questions. You can supervise or organize activities with us! You can drive around with books in our service car or help in libraries at school.
Because what you do counts, everyone can get started at the Velsen Library. Thanks to our joint efforts, we are able to eliminate language deficiencies, answer digital questions for young and old, give depth to activities and keep the opportunities accessible to everyone!
At the Velsen Library, you get to know new people in a surprisingly relaxed way at the pace you want. In exchange we make you an expert and give you the space to let you do what you are good at!
